Digital Impressions
Digital Impressions are a wave of the future. There are several brand names such as Cerec and iTero. Because Premier Dental Associates is an Invisalign office, we chose to buy the iTero digital impression scanning machine. Invisalign recently purchased iTero, and so we know that in the future they will fully support us and our Invisalign patients.
By using this machine, we will cut the acceptance time from 2 weeks to 15 minutes! No longer will patients have to sit in the chair and do impressions over and over again. Gone are the days in which we poured goop into patients mouths and made them sit for several minutes as the goop hardened into a model.
We have already used the machine on several patients, who unanimously agreed this machine is fantastic!
