Floss For Fertility

September 20, 2011  |   Posted by :   |   Informative   |   0 Comment»

There was an article published in the BBC News recently in which they discussed fertility. Fertility aside, flossing is very important for each and every person! It has been proven that people who brush after every meal and floss every night retain their natural teeth and avoid fillings, crowns, root canals, and extractions. Despite the average person knowing this information, chances are they do not brush several times a day or floss.

As you eat food throughout the day, little bits of the food stick to all sides of your teeth, and especially get stuck in your gums. Flossing allows you to clean your teeth in a way that brushing your teeth can not. When you do not floss regularly, you might find your breath smells, and this is because essentially the food stuck in those spots are rotting. Doctors are now saying that not flossing can lower your fertility rate as a result of the inflammation of your gums which leads to periodontal disease.

Do yourself a favor and start flossing for not only your life, but for the life of your unborn child!
